MCM Comic Con London

The Title

MCM London returns 28-30 October, and we can’t wait to welcome you for an unforgettable three-day celebration of all things pop culture! Don’t miss the chance to meet your favourite TV and film stars, the joy of browsing art from independent creators, the freedom to be yourself and all the special little moments you don’t get anywhere else. We’re excited to welcome you home to the greatest show of the year. Are you ready?

Important: The ExCeL’s East Entrance is closed for MCM London.

If you’re heading to ExCeL via DLR, alight at Custom House station and follow our signage towards the Queue Hall on the north lorryway. If in doubt, ask a member of staff or steward to direct you.

For access to MCM London as a pedestrian from hotels based on the east side, we recommend using the DLR for just one stop – boarding at Prince Regent Station to alight at Custom house.

What is the DLR?

The Docklands Light Railway (known as the DLR) is part of the London Underground network, Custom House is less than a two minute’s walk to the entrance of the ExCel. Trains towards Beckton/Gallions Reach stop at Custom House.

Do not alight at Prince Regent, as there is no access to MCM from the east side of ExCeL this year.

There is also a third station, Royal Victoria, which is a ten minute walk from the west end of the venue for those looking to avoid congestion.

The Jubilee Line and the DLR are typically the quickest routes to ExCeL London. Alight at Canning Town on the Jubilee Line and change onto a Beckton-bound DLR train for the quick two-stop journey to ExCeL: Custom House for ExCeL (for the west entrance).

What about Crossrail?

New to 2022, the Elizabeth line is due to open on 24 May. The Abbey Wood to Paddington crossrail section will be open to passengers during MCM London May, although initially trains will not run on Sundays or call at Bond Street. Given that this is such a new line, we recommend attendees keep a close eye on updates and plan to have a back-up route in case of disruption.
