ProjectLab – From Idea to Impact
Coolvoyage Destinations joins a new European cooperation initiative for youth workers
Coolvoyage Destinations has joined ProjectLab – From Idea to Impact, a new Erasmus+ KA153 Mobility of Youth Workers initiative coordinated by Asociación Socialty in Spain.
The project brings together organisations from across Europe with a common objective: strengthening the ability of youth workers and organisations to transform real needs into well-designed, relevant and sustainable Erasmus+ projects.
ProjectLab is conceived as a practical learning and cooperation experience rather than simply a training course about writing applications. Participants will work together on the different stages of project development — from identifying needs and defining objectives to designing activities, building partnerships and developing viable project concepts.
The programme is expected to involve 36 participants from 12 countries and 12 organisations, with three participants representing each partner organisation. The international Training Course is planned to take place in Madrid in summer 2027, with seven activity days plus travel days.
From ideas to real European projects
One of the most interesting elements of ProjectLab is its emphasis on practical outcomes.
During the programme, international teams will work together to develop 4–6 concrete project concepts, creating the foundations for potential future Erasmus+ cooperation among participating organisations.
This approach makes ProjectLab not only a learning opportunity but also a space for building new professional relationships and developing partnerships that can continue beyond the Training Course.
For Coolvoyage Destinations, this is particularly relevant to our growing involvement in European cooperation and to our work connecting destination development, sustainability, digital communication and international project development.
The organisation behind ProjectLab
ProjectLab is being developed and coordinated by Asociación Socialty, a Spanish organisation based in Madrid working in youth participation, inclusion, sustainability, human rights and European cooperation.
Socialty has experience both as coordinator and partner in Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps projects, including initiatives focused on environmental sustainability, youth participation, inclusion and capacity building.
ProjectLab will bring Socialty together with 11 partner organisations from different European countries, creating a 12-country cooperation network.
The complete international partnership will be presented once the consortium has been finalised.
Coolvoyage Destinations in ProjectLab
Coolvoyage Destinations participates as the Italian partner and co-beneficiary.
Our contribution will draw on our experience in destination development, sustainable tourism, digital communication, international partnership building and European project development.
Two members of the Coolvoyage Destinations team have initially been identified as key contributors to the initiative:
Angelo Calvi – Founder / Destination Development Specialist
Responsible for project development, international partnerships and European cooperation within Coolvoyage Destinations. His work combines destination development, sustainable and slow tourism, digital communication and the development of international projects and partnerships.
Patricia Pririsi – Ecotourism Project Manager
Working across ecotourism, sustainable tourism and territorial development, with particular attention to the relationship between tourism activities, local communities, environmental sustainability and the development of sustainable and inclusive destinations.
Their complementary experience will contribute to ProjectLab particularly in the areas of sustainability, territorial development, digital communication, partnership building and the transformation of local needs and resources into structured project ideas.
Building cooperation beyond a single project
Participation in ProjectLab is part of the wider development of Coolvoyage Destinations as an international ecosystem working across destination development, sustainability, digital publishing and European cooperation.
For us, European projects are not isolated activities. They are opportunities to connect territories, organisations and professional competences, exchange methods and develop collaborations capable of continuing beyond an individual funding programme.
ProjectLab – From Idea to Impact represents another step in that direction: starting from real needs, sharing experience and turning ideas into meaningful international cooperation.
