The Pro Loco of Fordongianus, in collaboration with the Municipality, organized the event “Mestieri, Passioni e Sapori a … Forum" for 29 and 30 December, an experience open to all and to be experienced with direct participation.

15 houses involved in the exhibitions, 5 craft workshops open to direct participation, 2 itinerant excursions on Mountain Bikes, dances and songs, refreshment points (Chickpeas with pork rinds, grilled pork, petza imbinada).

These are the main figures of the Tourist Event of regional interest, which takes place in the town of the ancient Roman baths and the Aragonese House.

The initiative includes an exhibition full of proposals that increasingly respond to the theme of craftsmanship and the enhancement of artisan work, in line with the expectations of an attentive public looking for high quality solutions.

Participants, tourists and non-tourists alike, will be able to experience firsthand the experience of know-how by immersing themselves in the typical atmospheres of our territories, coming into contact with our traditions through demonstrations by the most expert craftsmen.

Artistic craftsmanship has always been a fundamental driving force for promoting the tourist appeal of the area, responding to the newborn needs of tourists and travelers who, in the post-Covid era but not only, demonstrate an ever greater preference for the possibility of carry out first-hand experiences and activities in contact with nature, rural life and local traditions, immersed in the atmosphere of the places and alongside their inhabitants.

To be seen, to be known, to be remembered are the objectives of this edition. Objective that will be achieved thanks to the demonstrations and experiential laboratories that will be created inside the historic houses of the Municipality of Fordongianus

Investments will be made in the selection of exhibitors who can express the know-how, creativity and intelligence of the artisan world. The result will be a rich and evocative exhibition offer that will meet the visitor’s curiosity and will be an opportunity to touch authentic craftsmanship and to confront the culture and values of this sector by also engaging firsthand.

There will also be many side events that will make the event richer: demonstrations on the agri-food sector during the day and folkloric and traditional musical performances in the evening.
