Bike Touring
Motorcycling is an “alternative” way of travelling, with the bike staying in touch with what surrounds us.
Using a strictly personal term I would call it a “philosophy of life”, but if this is a great satisfaction it requires a certain spirit of adaptation and sometimes sacrifice.
Traveling by motorbike in the rain for example is not the best. One realizes that often is seen by the people who meet, or know in a different way from the mere tourist, I would say with greater sympathy. Creating “A climate of friendship” with the people with whom you have conversed in travel, is always a simple and beautiful thing.
For those approaching Mototurismo for the first time, we suggest starting from small journeys lasting a few days in our beautiful Island.
Just to realize what it means to travel with a motorcycle. The experience suggests never to travel alone, if possible of course…
In recent years several travel agencies have been born for bikers who offer group vacations. Or you can get on the plane and rent the bike on the spot.
Il Mototurismo è un modo “alternativo” di viaggiare, con la moto stando in contatto con ciò che ci circonda.
Usando un termine strettamente personale la definirei una “filosofia di vita”, ma se questo da grandi soddisfazioni richiede un certo spirito di adattamento e talvolta sacrificio.
Viaggiare in moto sotto la pioggia ad esempio non è il massimo. Ci si accorge che spesso si viene visti dalle persone che si incontrano, o conoscono in modo diverso dal semplice turista, direi con maggiore simpatia. Creare “un clima di amicizia” con le persone con cui si ha dialogato nei viaggi, è sempre una cosa semplice e bella.
Per chi si avvicina al Mototurismo per la prima volta, suggeriamo di cominciare da piccoli viaggi della durata di pochi giorni nella nostra bellissima Isola.
Giusto per rendersi conto di cosa voglia dire viaggiare con una moto. L’esperienza suggerisce di non viaggiare mai soli, se possibile ovviamente…
In questi ultimi anni sono nate diverse agenzie viaggi per motociclisti che propongono vacanze di gruppo. Oppure è possibile arrivare in aereo e noleggiare la moto sul posto.
