The adventure of the twentieth edition of the Musica sui Bocche jazz festival restarts from Aglientu on Wednesday 2 September. After the appointments in Alghero, L’Asinara and Nulvi, it will be the beach of Chiscinagghju (in front of the Saragosa campsite) to host at sunset, right in front of the Strait of Bonifacio, the concert with free admission of the trio composed by Enzo Favata on soprano sax , Marcello Peghin on guitar and Salvatore Maiore on double bass, for a musical journey that, starting from Sardinia, will touch Africa, the East and Brazil. The festival will then continue with a modification to the previously communicated program. At the request of the municipal administration, the dates scheduled for Perfugas will be moved to next autumn. The Anglona center has in fact adopted an anticovid ordinance which provides for the suspension of all public activities after 9 pm. Two of the four concerts scheduled in Perfugas will still be held in other centers. The duo composed of Rosa Brunello and Camilla Battaglia will be on stage on Saturday 5th in Nulvi, while the violist from leg Luciana Elizondo will be in concert on Sunday 6th in Chiaramonti.
“Although with regret, we shared the decision of the Perfugas administration to move the concerts scheduled in the center of Anglona to autumn,” explains the artistic director Enzo Favata. “We understand the reasons for safety and it is no coincidence that even during our concerts we are very careful to enforce all the measures provided, with the distance between the spectators, their registration, the use of the mask and any other precautions. The appointment in Perfugas is therefore only postponed, together with the concerts of Giuliana Soscia, Kabaret Maker and Street Preacher, and the Servillo-Girotto-Mangalavite trio “.
Instead, the subsequent appointments of the festival have been confirmed, which in total will touch eight centers for thirteen concerts: on Tuesday 8 September we will stay in Chiaramonti for the original production of Musica sui Bocche 2020 entitled “African skies”, on Wednesday 9 Silvia Bolognesi and the Young Shouts will perform in Sennori while on Thursday 10th in Martis it will be the turn of the pianist Kekko Fornarelli in trio. From Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September the festival will end in Castelsardo, for three days of concerts that will no longer be held in the Terrace of Room XI but in Piazza Novecentenario. An appointment not to be missed with Petra Magoni and Ferruccio Spinetti and their “Naked Music”, Simone Graziano and the “Snailspace” project, guitarist Gavino Loche for the traditional and highly anticipated concert at dawn, while the closing of the festival will be entrusted to Enzo Favata to his project “The Crossing”, in a new version with the trumpeter Roy Paci.
As already mentioned, the festival complies with all anti Covid provisions. During each concert, the use of a mask will be mandatory, the seats will guarantee the distancing between those who are not connected, while the sanitation of the hands will be guaranteed at the entrance to the church by the festival organization.
Each spectator must also complete and deliver to the box office a self-declaration certifying their state of health. The form will be downloadable on the festival website, at the link www.musicasullebocche / covid. The public is advised to download it, fill it in and bring it already printed, in order to facilitate the scrolling of the queue at the entrance to the concert. Those who do not have this possibility can still find the paper form to fill out on site. For any further information, you can call the number
